The Updates . . .
i'm opening this again, when i have time. so probably i'll post something tonight but for now i want to tell you all about how great being a senior is. we had a four day weekend because of memorial day, and last week five of us senior girls got together and planned senior skip day. we had it yesterday so we would get a five day weekend. we sent a mass text around to everyone and somehow pulled it off. We all planned to meet at one person's house and have a barbeque & just hang out around 10 in the morning. We had also set up a scavenger hunt for our principal to come meet us there (he's so cool & we call him dad so we figured he wouldn't be mad) we got 63 of 99 seniors to skip school and about 35 of us met at one persons house. there was no drinking or smoking because our principal was coming and the girl who's house it was was there for supervision. we had a counselor sneak the note into his office. it said something like this ... you're probably wondering who could pull such a stunt .... you'll find out when you complete our scavenger hunt! immediately he knew it was the seniors. he was so excited that we included him even though are teachers were flipping out. so he showed up around 11 and stayed for about an hour. we have this teacher that says if you miss her class that day just come in during another class to make it up. so we were all planning on going in 8th period to make it up. we wrote all over our cars and drove around the circle in front of school beeping our horns, blaring music, and yelling. then we parked all messed up in the parking lot and blocked an entrance and then went into the school. they had to write 35 of us late passes. our excuse? "train delay" but then the teacher wouldn't let us in her class so we went back to the parking lot and hung out till school got out. it was so much fun. but then today teachers were making a big deal out of it. trying to cancel our senior breakfast which we don't even care about. one teacher said no one has done an organized skip day like this in 10+ years and we set a bad example blah blah blah but it was so much fun we don't even care how much trouble we get in :):):):):):):):)
